Port Commission Selects Harbor Works Candidates to Interview

Yesterday at the Port of Port Angeles Commission meeting, the Commission selected three candidates to interview for the vacant Harbor Works Board Member position. The Port received eight applicants total.
In open session, the Commission discussed the eight candidates’ qualifications, then chose Mr. Grant Munro, Mr. Harry Bell and Mr. Kaj Ahlburg to proceed in the selection process. The three candidates have been invited to make brief presentations to the Commission during the next regularly scheduled Commission meeting on Monday, January 25th. Following their presentations, the candidates will field questions from the Commissioners.
Mr. Bart Irwin tendered his resignation from the Harbor Works Board effective December 31, 2009 leaving a Port appointed vacancy on the Board.
