The Port of Port Angeles is located 80 miles north and west of Seattle on Strait of Juan de Fuca. The Port currently owns and operates four deep water berths capable of handling vessels up to 1,200 feet in length with a draft of up to 45 feet.
With our convenient location near major shipping routes, the Port of Port Angeles is recognized by shipping operators as a convenient location where vessel repair and maintenance can take place. Services available without the need to deviate from major shipping lanes include:
Barge Services
Regional barge companies provide "on call" service for transportation of goods from Port Angeles to other Puget Sound and west coast destinations. If a company has specific cargo needs, the Port is ready to assist in finding the most economical transportation method.
Pilot Regulations
